Toothpaste and oral care
We supply Gutology hydroxyapatite toothpaste, the toothpaste we use and recommend in the practice, at £14.50 a tube, plus £5.50 postage per order, or collect free from reception. We have a referral arrangement with Gutology and receive a small commission on Gutology products; it does not change what we recommend.

Whitening top-up gel (existing whitening patients only)
By law, whitening gel can only be supplied on a dentist’s prescription, and not to anyone under 18. If you have whitened your teeth with us, your dentist sets up your prescription at a review appointment (£25). Top-up gel is £45 to £160 depending on the gel and number of tubes. We check your prescription before posting; if it is not in place, we refund you.
Denture repairs by post
Broken or cracked denture, or a tooth come off? Our on-site laboratory repairs dentures by post for £110, including return postage. If we cannot repair it, we return it to you free of charge. Prefer to wait while we fix it? Book a same-day repair at the practice for £75: call reception on 01285 821220, book online as an existing patient, or email lab@ceramiccentre.com.
- Order and pay in full using the form below (tick "Denture repair by post"), or email lab@ceramiccentre.com. We send a secure payment link; we start the repair once it is paid.
- Clean the denture thoroughly (uncleaned dentures are returned unrepaired), then wrap it in kitchen roll inside a sealed bag and pack it in a small sturdy box. Include a note with your name, phone number and what is broken, and a self-addressed envelope or label for its return.
- Post it to the practice, by tracked post, marked DENTAL REPAIR on the outside: Miserden Dental Practice, The Estate Barn, Miserden, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL6 7JA. The easiest way is to print our address label and repair form (button below): tape the label on the front of the parcel and put the form inside.
- We repair it and send it back to you by next-day guaranteed delivery (included in the price), or call you if it cannot be repaired.

Repair conditions
- Payment up front. All repairs are paid for in full before we start, by post or in the practice.
- Clean dentures only. For the safety of our laboratory team, a denture that arrives uncleaned or dirty is returned as it is, without repair, and the return postage (£5.50) is charged.
- Repairs only, not additions. We repair breaks and cracks and re-fix teeth that have come off. Adding a tooth or a clasp to a denture needs a prescription or impressions from a dentist, so please book with one of our dentists, or ask your own dentist to send us a prescription and impressions.
A repair mends the denture itself; it does not change how it fits. If a denture is loose or sore, or keeps breaking, please book with one of our dentists, as you may need a reline or a new denture. If a broken denture has left a sharp edge or a sore area in your mouth, do not wear it, and contact us or your dentist.
Materials sample packs
For allergy testing before treatment: a standard pack is £95 and a bespoke pack made to your dentist’s prescription is £145, plus £5.50 postage. Packs are made only after a written treatment plan, once your dermatologist has said which materials to test. Read allergy testing before treatment; your dentist orders on our referral page.
Postage and returns
- Postage: £5.50 per order by standard UK post, added at checkout. Or collect free from reception, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Returns: unopened products can be returned within 14 days for a refund. For hygiene reasons, opened toothpaste, brushes and whitening gel cannot be returned unless faulty.
- Your rights under consumer law are not affected. See our terms.
