Miserden Dental Practice is a private biological dental practice. Our fees are clear, and you always receive a written estimate before treatment.

All plans include free phone or video advice, priority booking, no joining fee, emergency appointments at £81 and routine X-rays at £10. Optional worldwide dental accident and emergency cover costs an extra 97p a month. Plans are run by CODEplan; three months' written notice is needed to cancel.
Plan member prices are shown for the Essentials plan (10% off) and for the Wellness, Holistic Care and Family plans (15% off). Plan discounts do not apply to specialist treatment or to any treatment that includes laboratory work or lab fees, such as crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays, dentures, implants, trial smiles and diagnostic wax-ups.
Each 'Book online' link opens our online booking page, which asks you to choose a practitioner: pick the name shown, or 'Any practitioner' if you have no preference. You can book consultations, check-ups and hygiene appointments online. Treatment is booked by our reception team after your consultation, once your dentist has given you a written treatment plan and estimate.

Keeping your place as a patient. After your new patient examination, please see one of our dentists for a check-up at least once a year. If more than two years pass without a visit to a dentist or hygienist here, your next examination is charged as a new patient examination (£120) instead of a check-up (£55). Seeing one of our hygienists counts as a visit, so regular hygiene appointments keep your place even if your check-up is late. See our terms.

Most root canal treatment is done in two stages. A root-filled tooth usually then needs a crown or onlay to protect it (see crowns). Very complex cases may be referred to a specialist, who sets their own fees.

For treatment made in our on-site laboratory, you can book technical advice with a technician: choice of materials, £60; shade matching, £60; attending your dentist’s try-in of a crown or veneer, £60; advice with our Technical Director on complex cases, £60. Shade-matching technical advice is included in our Bespoke lab service. All appointments with our technicians, including our Technical Director, are on prescription from your dentist only, after a new patient examination: your dentist must prescribe them before they can be booked. It is given by a dental technician, not a dentist. The technician does not examine, diagnose or treat you. Technical tasks such as shade taking are carried out only on your dentist’s prescription, by a technician trained and indemnified for them, within the GDC Scope of Practice (2025). Your dentist carries out all clinical treatment and fits your new teeth. They pass their findings, and anything you ask for, to your dentist, and your dentist makes every decision about your treatment. About our lab.

Dentures are made in our on-site laboratory. A same-day copy denture is an exact copy of your existing full denture, made in our on-site lab while you wait, £1,500 per denture, including a reline by the dentist if needed. Copy dentures are for full dentures only, not partial dentures. The teeth must be ordered before your appointment, so please call reception to book rather than booking online. Implant-retained dentures are listed under dental implants.
Temporary (healing) dentures. A temporary denture is made from temporary materials and works like a healing denture during your treatment. As your gums heal and things settle and change, your dentist adjusts it at the chair, adding new material to it, with one of our technicians helping alongside. It starts at from £400 for one tooth, plus £10 for each extra tooth. Study models and bite records (articulation) for analysis are charged on top; see diagnostics and extras.

Deposits, cancellations and missed appointments
Please give at least two full working days' notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment. Working days are Monday to Friday; weekends and bank holidays do not count. If you need to cancel or change an appointment close to the deadline, you must email reception@miserdendentalpractice.co.uk for your notice to be valid; a phone, text or WhatsApp message is not enough.

- Deposits: We take a deposit of 50% of the fee to secure new patient examinations, holistic consultations, longer appointments and treatment involving laboratory work. Deposits are deducted from the cost of your treatment. If you give less than two full working days' notice or do not attend, your deposit is lost.
- No deposit taken: Where no deposit was taken, a late cancellation or missed appointment may be charged at 50% of the appointment fee.
- Arriving late: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to rebook you, and this counts as a missed appointment.
