Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botox®)

Botulinum toxin types A and B are used in medicine to treat various muscle spasms and diseases characterised by overactive muscles. Commonly referred to as Botox, anti-wrinkle injections are used to smooth lines and wrinkles for a younger, more rejuvenated look.

The toxin blocks the transition of chemicals messages sent from the nerve to cause the muscle to contract. Without these messages, the muscle stays in a resting state until the messengers recover.

These effects can last about 3 to 6 months depending on the individuals lifestyle. Anti-wrinkle injections give your skin a more useful appearance.
