Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botox®)
Botulinum toxin types A and B are used in medicine to treat various muscle spasms and diseases characterised by overactive muscles. Commonly referred to as Botox, anti-wrinkle injections are used to smooth lines and wrinkles for a younger, more rejuvenated look.
They are most often used to treat:
- frown lines
- worry lines
- crows feet
- lip lines
- love her face treatment, the ‘Nephrite lift’ (improvement of jawline and neck appearance)
Botox® is used as localised treatment to key areas to the face to target muscles, to reduce their activity, this allows skin to recover as the lack of collagen as we get older makes the skin thinner as lines become deeper.
Anti-wrinkle treatments have been around for over 20 years and have an extremely good track record of safety.
